Made in Brisbane, for the people coming in 2032
I live here. I'm going to the Games. I started BRIS2032 because every other site about Brisbane 2032 is either official or selling something, and I wanted the one I'd send to a friend who was planning the trip.
Every announcement, budget, venue and date, read at the source and written up in plain English the day it lands.
Tickets, hotels, the ceremony draw. The day any of it opens, subscribers get the email first.
No ticket price exists yet. No hotel can be booked. If it isn't confirmed, we say so instead of guessing.
Who this is for
You, if you're planning to be in Queensland for the Games. From Texas, Tokyo, Toowoomba or three suburbs over. First trip to Australia or fiftieth. Travelling with kids, with a wheelchair, with your partner, with your mates. The questions are the same: when, where, how much, how do I get there, is it safe, and what can I do here that I can't do at home. That's what every page on this site is built to answer.
What we're not
Not official. BRIS2032 has no connection to the IOC, the Brisbane 2032 Organising Committee, Paralympics Australia or any government body. Not a ticket seller: there are no Brisbane 2032 tickets on sale anywhere, and anyone telling you otherwise is wrong. Not sponsored: nobody pays to be recommended here. Some links to hotels and tours earn a small commission; those are marked, and we'd point to the same places without it.
How we keep it straight
Every fact links to where it came from. Pages carry the date they were last checked. If something is a prediction based on past Games, it's labelled as one. If we get something wrong, tell us and we'll fix it and say so. The long version is below if you want it.
Editorial standards, in full
BRIS2032 is a reference resource, not a newsroom. We don't conduct interviews or original reporting unless we say so on the page. We track every public announcement, budget figure, venue decision and timeline for the Brisbane 2032 Games and organise it into something a visitor can use. We use AI tools to help research, draft and structure articles; facts are checked against named primary sources, and anything we can't verify is labelled unconfirmed or left out. Where a figure comes from reporting rather than an official announcement, we say so. Every claim is sourced. Unconfirmed is labelled unconfirmed. Predictions based on previous Games are marked as such. We correct errors and note the change. Pages carry a last-reviewed date. No implied official status. Affiliate links are disclosed wherever they appear.
Corrections, tips, a photo of the stadium site from your street, or a question about your trip: bris2032olympics@gmail.com. Locals and visitors with disability, and LGBTIQ+ travellers: if a page doesn't answer what you need, that's a gap we want to know about.
BRIS2032 acknowledges the Turrbal and Jagera peoples, traditional custodians of Meanjin (Brisbane), and the Quandamooka, Yugambeh and Gubbi Gubbi peoples whose Country includes Games venues.
